Brandon Jones (2005 - 2009)
Brandon graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation from Western Michigan University. Brandon is a licensed pilot and became an aviation instructor at WMU. On weekends he was a pilot for skydiver groups. Brandon is realizing his dream of flying jets and flies planes for U.S. Air out of Minneapolis.
Brittany Alston (2005 - 2009)
Brittany has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Spelman College. Brittany graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors and is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society. Brittany is presently studying medicine at Wayne State University.
AlQuita M. Murray (2005 - 2009)
AlQuita graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education from Alabama A&M. Aside from teaching and composing, one of AlQuita’s goals is to play with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. AlQuita is a Music instructor in Memphis, Tennessee at Booker T. Washington High School, winner of President Obama’s 2011 High School Commencement Challenge, where he delivered the commencement address on May 16, 2011.
Lyndsi M. Caldwell (2007 - 2011)
Lyndsi graduated from Florida A&M University in May 2011 with a degree in Pre-Law. She is a member of Beta Alpha Chapter, AKA Sorority, Inc..
William Mandela Matthews (2008 - 2012)
William is entering his senior year at Kentucky State University. William pledged Omega Psi Phi and is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Arts.
Austin Knight (2009 - 2013)
Austin is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree at Grand Valley State University.
Joy Evans (2011 - 2015)
Joy is completing her senior year at Wayne State University with a major in Pharmacy.
Brianna M. Carter (2011 - Present)
Brianna is in her junior year at Howard University. She is pursuing her Bachelor’s degree with a major in History and a minor in Political Science.
Kendall Nicole Dixon (2012 - 2016)
Kendall is completing her senior year at Western Michigan University with a major in Business.
Carmichael Posley, Jr. (2012 - 2016)
Carmichael is completing his junior year at Alabama State University.
In 2004, we decided to shift our primary focus to education. So many young high school students with the potential to become leaders in our community were graduating. But even after exhausting their many financial sources, some still needed assistance. So our Scholarship Program was born. We remain committed to assisting our recipients in achieving their goals.
